I saw some recent posts regarding an inexpensive wifi dongle for the lionel command base to run along with the Blue Train app. How does one connect (wire) this up and can you incorporate the MTH DCS into the mix?
I dont know of a inexpensive wifi dongle, but there is a inexpensive bluetooth adapter that connects to the serial port on a TMCC/Legacy base. You use the BlueTrain app and control trains with a Android smartphone or tablet.
I dont know of any such device that works with DCS but I'm sure something is in the works.
You can't use MTH with the BLUETRAIN application as it's strictly a TMCC control application. Now that the Legacy controls are published, I suspect he'll be expanding it to include some Legacy controls as well.
Since MTH guards their interface like the crown jewels, there is minimal activity in that arena with the exception of the one that the Hikel brothers are doing.
