Assembling Realtrax

I just received a shipment of realtrax for my 8x8 layout and I was wondering if there was any trick To connecting it. I have tried lining up everything and pushing, but it is very hard and I don't want to put too much pressure on it to avoid damage.

You join the pieces together at an angle. If you go to the MTH website they have a brief video demonstration on how to Join Real Trax. I think there are a few helpful videos posted there. Once you get the hang of it, it goes better. It's never really easy to join them.
