This may have been asked here but I couldn't locate a thread - I just tried connecting an 072 section to the turnout's 054 leg and an 081 section to the turnout's 072 leg - and it can't be done out of the box?  The tolerance is so tight, that the ties on the 081 and 072 sections overlap/occupy some of the same space for the first couple tie area coming off the turnout connection spots - so you cannot connect a section of track to both turnout legs at the same time.  I even tried a straight piece on the 072 turnout leg and n 054 on the turnout's 054 leg (just to see) , but no luck.  The space between the two turnout legs is just too tight.  Has anyone else run into this?  How did you solve?  Cut the ties on one of the sections (outer?  Inner?) or ...?

Thanks,

Peter
