Two questions:
1. How do you remove the floor of the boxcar without breaking anything? I want to get in there to add weights.
2. Do any metal wheels fit in the trucks that come with the car?

There’s some tabs on each end Be careful removing the bottom because these are very brittle. Here’s some pics of my vintage Atlas O Boxcar hope this helps

I use a screwdriver and gently pry on the tabs on the end where you have the broken spot. I do one side and lift the floor a little, and then the other side and snap it out.
Atlas sold scale metal wheelsets at some point. Other than that I don't know of any. Lionel wheel sets may work and you have to grind the ends flat instead of pointed if too long.
