To all of my friends in this wonderful hobby I have a GOOD story to tell

I received an Atlas dash 8 from a friend just before he passed away.its condition was very very poor so it sat on a box for a few years and I decided to bring it back to life in memory of my friend so I sent it to ATLAS and into the hands of Mr. Bill Serratelly.our communication since day one was impeccable and calls were answered immediately by Bill.

he said to me I will return this engine as the day it left the factory.

only two weeks went by and Bill called me saying the engine was ready,so I started looking at my wallet.

Bill gave it a tune up,replaced broken and missing parts and even cosmetic work was done.

You will not beleive this MY BILL WAS 35.00 YES 35.00 dollars shipping and a box included.

hard to beleive? I called Bill to make Shure there was not a mistake and He said nope, that is correct.

I want the whole community to know my appreciation to Bill and Atlas o.

Good story, glad they took care of you and you had a good experience. Sounds like you got a great deal too. I have not had anything repaired by Atlas, but all my dealings with them for parts and information have been great, just like you describe. Their parts and shipping is very reasonable as well and so far I have always gotten the parts I needed, with their help in determining what was actually needed.

Gentlemen,

Had a similar experience with Bill at Atlas, had my Atlas Angle Train take a nose dive off the 2nd or 3rd level of my Christmas layout this past year, due to a mismatches DCS Remote/TIU, some serious damage was dent to my Angle Train, Bill not only called me back about the parts needed to do the repair he advised me on how to due them, he made sure I had the parts in time to fix and run the Angle Train for Christmas.  The Atlas Parts and Repair department is Top Shelf in our hobby, no doubt about it.  Bill knows his business and runs it professionally.
