Atlas SW7 reverse lockout

Hello. I have an early model Atlas SW7, and it seems to be locked in forward only. What positions are the two switches on the fuel tank supposed to be set at, and do these control the reverse lockout? Or has my memory failed me, and there is another way to lock and unlock the reverse unit? Thanks in advance!

One switch is, don't remember L or R. Remember the early units, you have to push the reverse button quickly on those OTT reverse units.
