I have seen diagrams, and directions that say the Atlas Uncoupler gets its common from the outside raill opposite the rail where the screw terminal is located.
Then I saw and read about connecting a wire, with the momentary button switch in line, from the screw terminal, to a transformer.
I want to control all of the Ross Switches, and Atlas Uncouplers, with the B-U controller of my Lionel ZW-C, which I have hooked up in phase with my other transformer, so if I understand correctly, I can use a separate transformer, or section of my ZW-C for the hot wire, while the common is coming from the track via the outside rail.
This would mean that I only need to connect the hot side to my transformer.
Is this a correct understanding?
