I was wondering what is the average price for a used but in good shape (1999) MTH 4-6-0 G5 locomotive? and was it runing a QSI proto sound board or a Proto1 board? (didn't found that information on MTH site)
Oh wow.... Keystone, I didn't knew that auction website, It's fantastic! I have seen at least 6 items I want to buy for the next auction. Unfortunately, as a foreigner I just can't join it.
Anyway..thank you for the information! it's much appreciated
Thank you for the information Raildog, for the moment I have seen 2 locs on ebay, but the price is set around 530... it seem that prices are getting higher and higher and not only on new stuff.
I picked one up in December off ebay for $126.00 + shipping! I think I got it so cheap because the auction ended on a wednesday at noon, and was just listed as "MTH engine". It has no box but is in excellent condition. They seem to be going a lot higher now. It is definately proto1, but the sounds aren't to bad. It is a great little engine.
