I seem to remember, from back in the '80s, that many/most of the bandit dealers did not set up at the TCA show, therefore, you had a chance to get items that would be unique to the bandit meets. Now it seems like we see most of the bandit items a few days later at the TCA show. Do any of you agree with this? While the bandit shows are fun, there seems less reason to spend extra days at York.

For me the main reason to go to the bandits is to get first crack at the hard to find items. Some guys still only sell at the bandits, not wanting to commit to three days at TCA along with the costs. Last year there was a guy at the Holidome selling a 6456 Glossy Red with white letters (4 figure price tag) who said he only did the bandits.
