I've just become aware of this product, and wondered if anyone here has one? These were imported about 20 years ago.
If yes, I'd be curious about your general opinion of it, especially in terms of reliability. Even if you don't have one, I'd welcome anything you might have heard second (or even third) hand.
It looks appealing, but I've been thinking that it may present operational challenges. In particular, I was wondering if it is difficult to get the hook (based on the controller labeling, it may actually have two) oriented correctly to pick up whatever you want to lift? There might also be issues in getting the hook to release. I was also curious if the operation is smooth, or if it tended to be jerky?
I guess I'm basically wondering if it provides operational satisfaction, or does it tend to become just an attractive accessory.
