I was looking through woodland scenic's website but i cant tell which figure set would look the best. Anyone know which set name would work best or have photos of figures they've added on their engines and/or Schnabel? I would also like to find a maybe a sleeping hobo figure to put inside the Schnabel like a stowaway - Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

I think I added some MTH people I found in blue coveralls to the (W) Schnabel car I have - their jumpsuits were close enough to Westinghouse blu. Not sure where you would put the hobo inside the Schnabel: just about anyplace whould be visible where he would get caught. Not a lot of place to hide.
As to the diesels, I think MTH makes some good locomotive cab figures. If I remember gith CharlieNassau had some on his site today.
