I agree, he does not belong in your magazine. Buffett is always made out to be an angel while he plays dirty behind the scenes, just like the tax the rich deal, sure Warren after you make all your money, change the rules and make it harder for the rest of us or the companies we work for to make any money, or compete with him, goodby good job. There was or is a railroad in South Dakota that could haul coal back east and compete with BNSF, Buffett and the cronies lobbied to not allow it because of coal dust near the Mayo Clinic, destroying competition to cost the average guy more is nothing new for this bunch, just like the pipeline. I used to think he was great but have seen the error in my ways.
I knew it was only a matter of time before the whiners came forth.

We're talking toy trains here, kids, not the policies and politics of the dog-eat-dog competitive business world.

If a layout is worth presenting, and so long as the owner isn't a convicted felon of some type, it's pretty much fair game. I haven't seen enough of the layout to know if it's worth coverage, but I have a pretty good idea that Warren Buffet has never been convicted of any illegal activities.
hello guys and gals......
I tried to read what SIRT posted about the keystone-pipeline but i have little trouble in understanding the truth about it. Is Warren Buffett choose to NOT allow the pipeline to happen ? Maybe someone can clear this up as of what to make sense of this story.

That being said Allan, I would suggest a ticket to the shareholders meeting in May in Omaha as at the last 2 they had a very nice BNSF o-gauge layout at the meeting, I am sure I can get you a ticket, let me know if you want one. I and others are just presenting the facts.

No need, thanks very much. We ran a feature on those displays in the magazine. I won't really need a ticket to get in if I wanted to attend. Thanks anyway!
