Any train stores having Black Friday specials? How about some of our forum sponsors? I thought stores like Aarons and Pats usually have something for the day. I have Friday off from work and was thinking of going train shopping. Weather permitting(northeast Ohio)

As Chris stated the only notice I have received is from RMT and it starts at 12:01am Friday online

Well, you'd hope they'd get some financial support if people want to spend money,
given that so many LHS's have closed.
Trains stores do not do black Fridays. This is train season after all. All of the Christmassy type of items will be on sale in Jan. and Feb.
The only Black Friday shopping I am planning to do is a trip to my local ACE hardware store.
They usually have some tool bargains that I cannot resist.
Well....kinda......I'll be going to the train show in Huntington WV where I have gotten some fantastic deals......so it's my own black Friday sale in a way!
Nassau Hobby has free shipping this weekend as posted on their site. My local Ace Hardware which carries Lionel, MTH as well as HO trains has 20% off in store from 8 am – 10 am on Friday Morning. I assume they will honor the 20% off all train items as they did last year. They don’t have a large selection of O’gauge trains, but have some MTH RailKing and Premier engines. However, last year I was able to buy my Lionel Legacy Milwaukee Road S-3, 261 for 20% off the MSRP on Black Friday. Right now they have the new Lionel Milwaukee Road passenger cars on the shelf. If anyone lives in the Chicago area, they are located in Aurora, IL on Lake Street (Rt 31).

I'll be at the Flyers game on Black Friday morning. That being said, I'll probably drag my not so little guy to Nicholas Smith trains on the way home since we drive past it a mile down the road on the Blue Route.
