Max Gray, USH, and a higher priced company whose name I forget. For plastic, MTH is one choice, and I believe San Juan did a kit.
Personally, I wouldn't want one with opening bottom doors, as I have no desire to have a stationary "display model". The open doors could tend to restrict the movement of the trucks.
Then what's the point?
It's been almost three weeks. Pictures, please?
I was expecting a gondola?

Last 3 pictures are of one of the drop bottom gons, Bob.
Nice acquisition, Brad. I've played about thinking I'd like to get one these myself, but can't find any justification to rationally incorporate it into my RR,
There were 2 runs of the MG cars - one had opening doors and the other did not -- latter are considerably cheaper than the former.
I thought that they were used for sugar beets,
Need to point out the fact that the trucks will move freely even when the doors are open.
I would like to see an action video of this car being loaded and unloaded.
For now I have to be content with my MTH Steel Drop-Bottom Gondola pair that is nicely detailed and partially fragile.
Will the roadname be on the sides? NORTHERN PACIFIC?
Andrew
I am going to mark it with NP decals...
