Been thinking about getting a brass GN steam engine. Only can run 054 curves right now--what is the best out there? Thanks, Don

The MTH GN S-2 4-8-4's are very nice and will run on 054. It is probably not considered a brass model, but the detail is excellent. I prefer it to the Sunset brass GN S-2.
Weaver made a nice 4-8-2 P2 Northern, in two variations, a few years ago. There are some still available from time to time at affordable prices that would run on 54 curves. Sunset Models /3rd Rail made an 08 2-8-2 also, a bit more pricey and harder to find.
Thanks for the info - I own the MTH S2 and will look for the Weaver and Sunset model!
