Thanks for making and posting this video. I've been able to peek under to boiler to see a bit of the drive, but it is nice to see it in full.
I've wondered if that belt is a maintenance item, and how long it is supposed to last. You mentioned something about that, but can you give more info?

I do not know the design speifications for these cog belts.
From what I understand they are designed for very long life in computer applications.
I can tell you that the one in the video was slipping at a full motor speed around the bottom pully, then full motor torque at stall speed.
I thought the belt might have been ruined; but as you can see in the video, survived that torture test.
