Broadway Limited Operating Water Tower Arrives

Broadway Limited is mainly a manufacturer/importer of HO & N  gauge trains. I was not aware they made 0 gauge models.

I got a call on the 26th and shipping confirmation last night for mine.  Been a long wait! Mine is in the PRR scheme.

It’s an oddity for this company. Outside of BLI’s On30 line, this accessory is the only O scale item they got.

The BLI tower looks better.

Scale measurements, sound, and operating spout.  The new MTH tower catalogued in the 2017 catalog does have sound but the BLI version has a more complete sound set.

Both are good so if you prefer the MTH version that's fine.  The BLI version was demoed at York a few years ago at the Trainworld booth and it seemed like they received an order from every 3rd or 4th person who passed by.  Not sure how many folks got tired of waiting but it sure was impressive to see in person.

Seems like a great deal for $150. Does anyone have a video of one in action?

The BLI water tower looked great when Train World had it at York.  Hopefully, production version will be equally good!  Will let everyone know my reaction when it arrives next week.

This is a video of the HO scale operating water tower by Broadway Limited.  I expect the O scale version will operate the same.

Just for everyone's information, the head and chief operating person at BLI are both people who have worked for Lionel and know O gauge three rail quite well.  I would expect more from them in O gauge if the water tower meets their expectations.

Just over 11 inches tall!   Looks and sounds awesome!   Wish me luck dealing with my wife lol : )

How nice would a BLI O Scale GP20, with horizontal motors and full cab interior, and kinematic pilots be? With optional Kadees and TMCC?!?!

Um, BLI hasn’t made any announcements it’s getting into three-rail O scale, let alone producing locomotives. It took two years just to get the water tower into inventory.

The company has its hands full already just producing stuff for the larger HO and N scale markets. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves here.
