With the Ohio Central and Buffalo & Pittsburgh both being owned by the Genesee & Wyoming Holdings company, a joint venture was agreed upon with the W&LE to use the Wheeling from Jewett, Ohio to Bruceton, Pa. From Bruceton, the CHEC-1 then uses the AVR back to home rails in Evans City, Pa. Here, SD45 #456 flies at track speed over the Wheeling as it heads East.
