"HONGZ" stands for HO scale, N scale, G scale, and Z scale.
Post your non-O scale stuff here!

Hi, Erik.
That's very well done...excellent work. Would you be kind enough to tell me the manufacturer of the base?
Thanks,
Bob

Hi Erik
I found Rokuhan, web page. Did you purchase this from them in Japan or do they have a dealer in the states?
Add Man / Alan Arnold - Check out their web page, I think they are only into Z Scale. This company may want to get some sales in the states. They would be perfect for the OGR Forum, HONGZ.
I have seen these suitcase trains at train shows, do any of our present sponsors sell these suitcase trains or Z scale? Always looking for winter projects.

Z Scale Hobo has them too.

I know nothing about Z and the associated costs. What would something like this run, ballpark?
It's pretty cool, open up the briefcase and run trains
Caboose Hobbies can also order it; I am planning on offering finishing service on these at an additional cost through http://caboosehobbies.com

Curious if the kit could be modified to have a hidden staging yard in the tunnel.
Any retailer who has an account with Intermountain Railways can order this kit. Just like any Retailer can also order the LOKSound by ESU DCC decoders from Intermountain as well
Neat stuff Erik. I originally thought this to be a pricey $800+ Noch layout. Actually this is very well priced. Intersting, thanks for sharing. What do you use for a transformer?
