Hello all,
I have a LC+ GP7 that my kids love operating, but I'm quite underwhelmed by its sound. Granted it runs next to some equipment with fantastic sounds-like CCII Baldwin Sharks & Alco PA's, but still I'd like to upgrade this little guy if possible. I'd imagine a better speaker would be a step in the right direction, but I'd also love to hear a full range of Diesel engine noises & horn like the higher end units deliver.

Not going to happen, in order to have the synchronized sound with the control, it has to have TMCC or Legacy serial data coming to the RailSounds board.
Too bad, but thanks for the information! Thanks too for the reply & breakdown of what all my GP38 conversion would entail.
These are the kind of things that run through my head when I can’t sleep, in a strange hotel bed, in a strange city.
