I am trying to upgrade the WIU software from V1.0 to V1.1, and I am not having any success. I have followed the Wi-Fi DCS User’s Guide published by MTH. (The pertinent part of the guide is shown below.) When I power up the WIU, my Windows 10 computer is able to connect to the MTH_DCS-XXXX network. However after connecting to this network, I am not prompted to enter the network key as suggested by Step 5 on Page 9 of the user’s guide. I can not get beyond Step 4 of the guide.
Accessing LuCI
- Disconnect all cables from your WIU (power, TIU, ENET).
- Set the MTH/HOME selector switch to MTH.
- Plug the WIU into an AC wall outlet.
- Using a smart device or Wi-Fi capable laptop/PC, navigate to see the available wireless networks and connect to the MTH_DCS-XXXX. The network name is printed on the bottom of your module.
- When prompted, enter the network key mthdcswifi all lower case. The network key is also printed on the bottom of your module.
- Open your web browser and enter the IP address 192.168.143.1 in the url address
line. This is usually the top text box in your browser. This will open LuCI, the MTH
DCS web interface.
Any suggestions as to what I am doing incorrectly?
