Starting at least 8/18 and continuing today I cannot edit any of my posts. When I click on the Edit icon I get 2 popup Error messages and a very long technical "explanation".

Also noticed today that in Advanced Search I cannot select the member's name I want to search for anymore.

Are these problems my computer or the forum?

Whoa. Just noted that I CAN edit THIS post. But I still cannot edit my posts in Real Trains forum. I get the messages below every time I try on every post I've tried......

It turns out I may have been wrong. It just might be something on your machine. Here is the reply I got from Brian Lenz at Hoopla Tech Support:

Hi Rich,

That error is a client-side JavaScript error. You might have him check what browser plugins/extensions/add-ons he has enabled, as it could be that they are interfering.

The "_gaq" variable referenced in the error details is a variable for Google Analytics tracking. Some plugins (such as ad blockers, privacy add-ons, or JavaScript blockers) could very well interfere and cause issues.

If he's the only user having the issue, then the issue likely is something in his browser. Other things to try would be clearing cache/cookies and testing a different browser to see if he has the same issue.

Thanks for providing the full details of the error, as it helps us identify where the root cause is

Hope this helps!

Brian

Did you change or add anything on your computer on the 18th, when this started?
