can we still have a "favorites"

I'm still trying to figure that out, also.

Being able to go back and review the topics, after they've run their course, was a big plus.

By "favorites" do you mean you Bookmarked favorites that you saved in your browser?

 

I guess I'm not sure what you are asking because the Bookmark method of saving favorites is all done in your browser and not in the forum itself.

The old forum had an user option where we could "save to favorites" a disussion (thread, topic.)
As an example, I see there is a discussion on "how to make puffball trees", well.......I need to know how to do that, but I am still pretty far away from that point on the layout, so I would save the disussion to my "favorites" folder. That way I could access the discussion material at a later point in time and not have to go thru all the topics using the search feature. This was on the old forum under user preferances (I think).
I used it all the time.

Oh, just to clearify, the save to favorites was an option that the forum provided, meaning,  that I'm not talking about bookmarking using a browser.
This feature was similar to Youtube, or MRR discussion forum. Worked same way.
I get the impression that you never used it and perhaps were unaware that it was even there.
Well, anyway, Kinda seems like that is gone now ?
