Help Please. I have a Bump and Go 18411 Fire Fighting Car and I can't figure out how to remove the cover to lube it? It is squeaking like crazy, but running good????
Remove the screw on the left side of the fireman, swing shell up and back slightly to disengage the rear "nubs" (and fireman pinion/shaft). Note: when re-assembling, make sure the fireman shaft is seated in the hole and pinion turns properly for the direction of travel.
I have one of these, and the above poster is correct. While I had it opened I installed a blinking LED from Evans. I used red, but since the plastic cover is very red you could use clear.
