cannot update firmware on dcs wifi

when trying to update the firmware I get a message that the files does not contain a supported format. make sure that the image you choose is in the generic format for your platform. I am using a itouch to update the WIU.

I have a MacBook Pro and a Dell laptop with Windows 10 - Try using a a Windows laptop - Never had any luck updating MTH devices with my MAC. I am sure their is a trick to it, but I am not patient enough to figure it out.
