Has anyone made an O-scale ICRR locomotive driven by Casey Jones? Either the consolidation #638 he was assigned 7 years before transferring to passenger service, or the #382 ten wheeler that ended his life?

The Casey Jones engine and the New York Central's S type electrics have been neglected by O-gauge manufacturers, and both of these engines are iconic to railroading. I know Lionel made the S type, but I need one from MTH with PS 3. The Casey Jones engine has been completely neglected by O-gauge 3-rail manufacturers. On the other hand, GG1s are way too too prolific.

I share your opinion, Bobby. Would definitely like to see the Casey Jones made available for us 3 rail folks.
I'd buy one if Legacy equipped for sure.

Well, then, they haven't been "neglected". Not an ideal solution, but if you are desperate for DCS, convert a Lionel engine to that system. Or get Legacy Lite and run the Lionel...
I have the Lionel locos - both the S-1 and S-2 - great locos, class-detail-specific - but the S-3 was truly "neglected" by them and never offered. It was the slightly longer version, actually built as a 2-D-2 rather than a 1-D-1, later converted.
I'll take an S-3, even if MTH makes it. I'd prefer Lionel.
