Had all my atlas rolling stock in a storage closet in regular living space bedroom and got it all out to inventory and check for underframe warps. Only the 8857 CP RAIL (green) as pictured in a posting a few days back showed the severe warps in the diecast underframe, other roads from the same run are all okay. Very very odd. Removed it from the car and it broke into three pieces . Anyway I  was wondering if anyone else found warps in other Masterline  boxcars . Thanks.

There was a post with a similar problem on the 6th of this month and it was a zinc pest issue with the Atlas cars. I have checked all of my Atlas freight cars and I too found one Atlas Ballantine Beer reefer with the issue that you have described. I spoke to Atlas and was told that replacement floors are on order and it will probably arrive sometime around June of this year. I was also told that it is a good idea to remove the bad floor so that it will not cause possible damage to the car body should the floor distort more. Upon removal the floor broke into pieces which is a symptom of zinc pest. The photos below tell the sad story.
