@onetrackmind posted:Does the 45 by 99 in. blanket work with the track?
I’m not familiar with that particular product as I’ve only used the product pictured, which is 36” X 8’.
I spy on the Library of Congress photo a line of Barclay wrought Iron fencing along the bottom of the display. I still have some stashed away somewhere.
By the way, my brother has been filming and editing Christmas music videos featuring our layout since 2017. In anticipation for his newest video, here are his previous three holiday video cards from 2017-2019.

Late to the party on this, but for a defined/constant space and/or tracks on bare floors, I bought white custom cut area indoor/outdoor rugs to serve as my snow base. Low pile, easy to vacuum, and the marine backing is easy to pierce for wiring if needed. Better grip on bare floors than felt or fabric and it doesn't slide around every time I kneel on it or move something else. Certainly much more expensive than rolls of felt, but with three trees and trains underneath each one, it made my life much easier.
Note the variance in price per square foot. They charge more depending how much cutting or stitching they may need to do. The last one I ordered, it was actually less expensive to order a slightly larger rug than I needed (guessing width of the roll). If ordering, suggest you play with different widths and lengths (and maybe even order two that are half your required size) to find the optimal price. One more added bonus, they usually make and deliver within a week.

And now, here is this year's Christmas video card!
