This past Saturday the Casey Jones High Railers loaded up the modular layout for our first major road trip outside of the Memphis area. We will be set up at the June TCA convention in Atlanta. Trains will be running Thursday, Friday and Saturday (June 28th, 29th and 30th.)
One of our members, Phil Irish is providing his car-hauling trailer to us for transporting the modules to Atlanta. Here are a few pictures of the load out.
Moving modules down stairs
Ok, we moved everything downstairs. Now, where is Phil and the trailer? Frank took time out for a little down time.
Ok, Phil finally showed up (sleeping late again) and we got started. Phil installed cratles in the trailer designed to hold the modules in place.
ALL DONE!
Here some of the day laborers we picked up off the streets to do all the work! They worked really cheep, complained very little, and needed little or no supervision. I am behind the camera, and Phil and David ran off to take a bio brake.
We are looking forward to seeing forum members at the TCA Convention. Please come by and introduce yourself, say HI and run some trains with us if you are in the Atlanta area. Have a good week,
Richard
