I don't think so.  The coupler would need dual firing capability and I don't think I've seen any like that.  There are pre-command coil couplers that used a special 5 rail activation track for "normal" operation.  Some enterprising PW enthusiasts figured out a way to use these along with the bell relay and some creative wiring to make a remote control coupler.  I don't recall seeing a coupler that could respond the way a thumbtack unit does over an uncoupler AND work as a command control coil coupler.

If you wanted strictly transformer operation of the couplers, you could rig them with a modification of the circuit that The Electric RailRoad has for operating PostWar Whistles.  The circuit could be modified to sense the polarity of the bell instead of the whistle and used to trigger the coupler.
