Still in shock we got this train done in 1/48.

I acquired the Key E6s in 2013 with hopes of building enough Wolfer kits rather finding them and scratching enough to make a reasonable train.. then came Scott Mann, scaled up Coach Yard HO brass .. I’m ecstatic, and detailing them has been a pleasure. I’m thinking about setting them up at the Rocky Mountain Train Show alongside my son Daecian’s N scale layout this next month in Denver. Also seeing the DRGW Prospector and Yampa Mail sets being offered; it’s great times in O scale these days.

I just love O scale for how real it is, my son’s Scaletrains models are astonishing but I can’t make them look this good in my photos. Size matters.

tweak that color profile just a smidge; just like a 8x10 Kodachrome transparency from 1948.
