Kevin here, not sure that will happen. I alway build and order a few spares. The plan is to inventory, inspect and start shipping this Saturday.

Gotta have one, Schaefer was the last beer manufacture in Albany NY. I believe they closed the plant around 1970

All this great news in the same week. Just received my Sam Adams boxcar today, beautiful. Now the news that my Schaefer cars will be coming. Train life is good.

Next week, maybe Menards will announce a brewery. That announcement would fill Santa's Sleigh. If that happens, Rudy and the rest of the reindeer, better start eating their vegetables and take a couple extra vitamins.

Hey everyone!  Kevin, myself, and a few other guys were at the HiRailers today packing and labeling all the cars.  We took them to the Post Office this afternoon and they have been shipped!  Those who ordered them should be getting them in this upcoming week!

Mailing update, Club members, Kevin M., Jeff P., Bernie C, Mike B., and his girlfriend Lee, inspected, labeled and shipped out USPS Priority Mail all the Schaefer Cars.  These folks who helped me meet the commitment I made to you all to get them out today.

We have one order with that will go out on Monday, I needed to validate the address and by the time I did, the Paramus, NJ PO was closed. 

If you live East of the Mississippi River I am guessing you will get your cars by Wednesday and for those west of the Mississippi River by Friday or Saturday.

For those that asked, as I mentioned I always order a few extra, these are now available on our club store.

If you are interested, the store inventory has been updated as of about 60 minutes ago. Thanks Chris.

Mine came in the mail today but I was on my way to work so I didn't have a chance to open it!    Work is way over rated! I'll check it out and take some pics when I get home.

Good to be part of a serious crew!  It's been a big week for beer cars.  I didn't expect this, until later in the week.  FAST shipping.  Congratulations to the NJHR's for a GREAT beer car.  Here are some pics....

I've received three beer cars in the last three weeks.  All are completely gorgeous.  

Here are the NJHR Schaefer car, LOTS Yuengling from last year, and LOTS Samuel Adams from last week. 

This one shows the new Lionel Budweiser car on the same consist.

The MTH Conrail engine now has 27 cars to pull on my overhead layout, including 14 beer cars.  However, keep them coming guys...

I noticed that, too, except it’s even worse than $114, which is the minimum opening bid. The Buy It Now price is about $150. 

If you think that's nuts check this out.  I thought the ding-dong at York that had them listed at $795 apiece was off his rocker but check out this clown:
