I have my MTH 4000 transformer connected to my two fixed channels for track power on my TIU. Can I attach my prewar lionelmaster transformers to the variable channels for accessories? I also have my AIU attached to the TIU where I intend to attach 8 Atlas switches, which will run through my docs remote and manual atlas switch machines. I also have my TMCC cab connected to my TIU. Does this seems crazy or doable? I'm new to this so bear with me.

There's no need to get the TIU's variable channels involved to power accessories. Just connect the prewar transformers directly to the accessories.
It sounds as if you might want to learn a bit more about DCS before you attempt to use it.
