Following up on a recent post to explore using RF relays to actuate a DZ-1000.  I ended up buying a six pack of these and have been testing them out- they work fine but my plan to integrate non-derail operation hit a roadblock.  The RF relays are latching and prevent the non-derail feature from working properly.  The pdf below attempts to illustrate the situation.

The SPDT Relay contacts on the Emylo replace the DZ-1002 and connect the R and L terminals to common to actuate them.  This works fine. The "duh" moment issue is that the emylo contacts are then latched  and this does not allow the non-derail connections to switch the DZ-1000. I am stumped on a “parallel” way to get the non-derail rails to work around or with the DZ-1000 and SPDT emylo latched contacts.

Thoughts on a possible work around are welcome.  The attached pdf has working links- here is the jpg image

Thanks GRJ, I was afraid that might be the prime option.  Had to do something like  that when I had to replace the controls on the Lionel backshop doors to get them to move up and down. Inside the DZ-1000 must be a few diodes and cam operated limit switches for starting and stopping the DC motor (cold not find a diagram on line or on the forum).

I found this circuit mentioned in a previous thread and it uses a momentary SPDT switch but no hint of non derailing. Two switches like this based on the  two channel approach I guess is what you mean.
