I have a ZW-C, Command base, and the CAB1. I have 2 tracks, one powered by A/U and the other by the D/U ternimals on the ZW-C. Can I run conventional on one and command on the other? Thanks; Don

Yes, and you can still control the locos on both tracks via the cab1.
Once the ZW is programmed for command use, it can still be used for running conventional locos via. the cab1.
The A handle should respond as "track 1" on the cab1 and the D handle as "track 4."
You can run conventional on either track by simply raising and lowering the voltage on either of these tracks via the cab1. Just press "track" and then the number and rotate the dial. Note that the handle of the ZW has to be preset at the max voltage that you'll want available for that track.
Running command simply requires turning up that particular track's voltage to full, via the cab1 and then addressing the command engine(s) on that track by pressing ENG and then the engine's ID number. You leave the track power at full and only address the individual engines.
Thanks; easier than I thought! Don
If you hook up the command track to either of the middle controls when you address the track (#2 or #3) it will come up to full from the beginning.

Thanks; "B" is my lighting at the moment. I am not using "C". Don
