What is a good source of cream paint in spray cans ?This was a color used by many trolley lines. At one time Scalecoat had a Toronto Hamilton and Buffalo cream but I can't find it on the newer lisings.
I know in one of the hobby stores not far from me, there's a brand of paint used by all the military modolers. There is a cream color in there. You're have to clear coat after though as all those colors are flat. The store name is the Hobby Store, it's in Aberdeen, NJ. 732-583-0505. Give them a shout and ask what brand the paint is, then get it where you live.
I find the touch up little spray cans at auto stores like VIP or Napa handy with odd ball colors, you would be very surprised of the color palette available, especially for scale model cars, and they dry rather quick, on plastic the key is to dust spray on lightly in thin layers, never had any problems with wrinkling. Gman.
Bill: If Weaver doesn't have the exact cream color in their ScaleCoat line, I'm sure that they could mix up a batch to your specific order. Give 'em a call.
