Decals APP

Ok I am looking for an app to make decals ECT to put on my grand childrens custom trains . I used to use Microsoft Paint on my old computer but new we have gone Apple. Any suggestions of what to use free is best or atleast in expensive? Hope this is the right place to post this if not please tell me where I should ask this question?
