We have finished the deconstruction. I've had a couple of requests for a video so I took a short one to show what the layout looks like now.

I never fully realized just how big you layout was until this video. I always think its sad when layouts are taken down. I know the next one will be great and improved. I now look forward to seeing the rising of the phoenix.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you build in its place. this point in the process can either be depressing over what you lost or thrilling over what you are about to undertake. Given the amount of space you have I'd go with THRILLING! Keep us posted Spence.
Wow,
Thats going tobe some layout.
I would paint the plywood board a light gray.
It will save you a lot time down the road.
Good luck. A lot of work ahead.
Have fun that's what its all about.
John,
Spence I really like the progress you have made. It has made me somewhat inspired by your work. So now I have another layout to keep a better eye on. Keep up the great and fast work. Scot
Hi Spence
You are in a big time, layout do over, production. Congrats.

Spence,
Thanks for showing us the deconstructed layout ready for the prep work for the new layout. I will be looking forward to seeing the new layout develop. After all that work, you are due for a nice long vacation!!
you sound just like I thought you would....and just what does being Polish have to do with the inability to multi-tasking? the ski on the end of my name hasn't stopped me...
and do you know why we Polish have always been thought of as dumb? because when Christ was going away, he said to the Polish people "just act dumb till I get back..."
lots of work tearing that down, can't wait to see the new construction.
Spence, enjoyed that deconstruction video. It gave a great view of how much area you have for a layout. I am jealous. That 120 radius is going to look so good. A question that pops out for me. Do you have more room to use more then one 120 radius curve. My largest curves are 0-96 and the scale Lionel auto racks and hi cubes over hang on those a bit so I can hardly wait to see the inaugural run on your 120 curve...................Paul
Good Luck SPENCE!!!!!! We can't wait to see what's up!!!!
I'm just astonished at the size of your layout Spence. I like the train station you left in place. The video definitely helps put the size in perspective. Good luck with your next steps! Terry
Hi Spence,
Wow your layout and layout area is huge!!!!! looking forward to seeing your progress,
this is going to be very enjoyable to watch
Thanks,
Alex
WOW...Nothing you can't do there.Keep us up dated.Nick
Scenes like that, while probably stark to most, are like a blank canvas to an artist for those who build layouts. Endless possibilities! Enjoy the journey, Spence.
