Are the dedicated lighting circuits on the PS3 production board (NOT the PS3/2 board) current limited?
Or do I still need to include a resistor in line with any of the circuits driving LED's? Specifically in the boiler board of the steam setup, I'm adding a firebox, number board and cab interior LED. IIRC I think the Ps3/2 boards were NOT current limited, allowing the outputs (like for the headlight) to still drive a 6V incandescent lamp like for a headlight of the PS2 setup it was replacing. But for the production PS3 boards, did they just go ahead and build current limiting into the card from the start?
