Who has a smaller depressed center flatcar?

Bill from BTS said that his is no designed for 3 rail use, the semi scale Lionel is just too small and the 16 wheel k-line is just that, too large.

What else is out there?

This is the BTS car:

Why can't you get the BTS depressed flat and add the high rail trucks yourself?

I spoke with Bill and he advised against adding a 3rail truck to the car.

I don't know why. I have one, and with a little ingenuity the Weaver Hi-Rail Bettendorf trucks fit quite nicely. However, be forewarned, it is NOT an easy kit to build, nor is the old style "Bull Dozer" that sits on the car. The one I have is used in the CB&Q "wreck train".

Thank for you the insight. Could you possibly supply pictures of your car with Weaver trucks?

My idea was the transformer load in the OP.

"There are still some All Nation kits on eBay occasionally."

Yes - just passed on one last week (I have 2 already); simple, and use any trucks you'd like. "Model Railroading" will be necessary...

The RK cars (some were die-cast; later they were plastic - same tooling, appartently; some had 4-wheel trucks; some 6) are very nice-looking; a bit on the narrow side (they are for RK users, after all), but, meh.

Just go on eBay and search "depressed" in O-scale. EBay is a good basic research tool - and it will give you cost ideas, too.
