I am running a new Lionel 3450 464 Hudson on relative new track. I use two Ross Custom switches to build a crossover. My engine at low speeds derails as it goes into the left divergent track. The pilot wheels have no problem, only the first set of drivers. They do a 'little jump' and derail. At faster speeds the engine does fine. it is only at very low speeds. My switch is a RCS LH072. The derailment occurres over the 16th, 17th or eighteenth cross tie, counting from the beginning of the switch. The is the only engine that derails going through this switch. Any suggestions as to how I might solve this problem?
