As always a terrific video and great bunch o GUYZ. Like the planes hanging around the layout, and the Ford Building is outstanding. Even noticed SIRJAMES on the prowl.

Nice Video, Gary has a great layout. What was the story on the Ford building, who built it and when? Been to the real building a number of times over the years while working for Ford. Nice building still even though it's about 50 years old now.
Gary explained to me that it was the exact Architectural model before the building was built that was reviewed, bought off on and then was on display at Ford Motor for years. I am not sure if Gary won it in a raffle or acquired it during Fords remodeling years. Its a beauty.

Saw the Ford building this morning. On the way to Greenfield Village to set up the modular layout in a Thomas theme. Live steam Thomas will be there soon. Story I got was the model was in a basement storage room headed for a dumpster. It was offered to Gary and he accepted.
On another note while setting up a 3 year old was watching, we handed him a LC remote and off it went. If a three year old can run it with ease, Lionel it's a winner.

I heard the same story about the Ford building as Jim told it. There is all kinds of stuff in the basement of the building and Gary was able to get the building before it went to the dumpster.
