Our newest creation is Dillinger’s Locksmith and Electrician. When asked why he robber banks, Dillinger said “That’s where the money is.” Dillinger was so good at breaking through locks, this little sidelight was meant to be a nice quite retirement for his golden years. The fact he didn’t live to see his Golden Years hasn’t swayed us. If the facts don’t conform to the theory, just change the facts.
Dillinger’s has a compact footprint of 2.75” x 4.50” with a height of 5.25” to the top of the decorative cornice with the “year built” prominently featured.
The Dillinger’s kit is constructed of ultra sturdy ¼” MDF to ensure squareness and durability. The finish is a combination brick and chipped stucco providing the time worn look and feel urban modelers seek. While experienced modelers can enhance this kit with added details and weathering, even beginners can build an impressive structure consisting of four ¼” walls, a roof, door, steps, separately applied locksmith signage and cornice. Modelers of any skill level can build J. Dillinger from start to finish in one sitting.
Dillinger’s also features a unique etched glass window with the Dillinger’s name etched into the surface.
