Most of the modern tooling locomotives from any brand have similar levels of detailing, perhaps even the same actual manufacturer (which does not mean the same tooling, though).
I have the Atlas NYC F2 A-unit, powered, and I removed the swinging pilot and O-gauge coupler, and replaced it with the provided frame-mount pilot and scale coupler, as this loco will never be a trailing unit.
I'm not up on diesels a whole lot - is Atlas the only 3RO provider who includes the swinging/fixed pilot, big/small coupler swap hardware? Nice touch.
