The photo sort of reminds me of an abandonded logging track in Northern Pennsylvania.  We had a hunting cabin in the area for many,many years.  That photo sure does look like it came from the mountainside not far from camp.  Aah,memories!

When I first saw the picture I thought they were the railroad tracks to Hana. Beautiful picture regardless of where it is. Thanks for posting it Don.

I cannot remember the thread but I believe this was a picture in it as well. Railroad in Ukraine.

Here are some other pictures I found of abandoned railroads and even some abandoned locomotives! I think these shots are sort of surreal...

Of the heavily worked photos, (1,4,8,9,10 as well the original posted) I like the rail tones that were laid in on 4 and 9 best. No 1 has too much of the Thomas Kinkade influence in my opinion.

It is certainly one of those photos that you would see in a gallery.

That pic may be from a Hollywood studio.  Looks like it's from the mid-80's Romancing the Stone or mid-90's The Phantom movies.
