Tragic for the train crew and the girl's family and friends. It's also tragic that so many young people are committing suicide now, for whatever reason. Absolutely tragic.

Very sobering comment,its tragic when an adult commits suicide by whatever means but when a teenager commits suicide this is a tragidy for society. These young adults have not started to experience the ups and downs of adult life.

I grew up in DesPlaines IL 1/2 block from the Soo tracks. A group of boys 5 to 8 years younger than I were playing chicken close to the tracks and one was sucked in by the passing Laker. Train crew never knew that it happened. The train crew learn of the death at I.C. station in Chicago when the boy was found impauld on the pilot of the third geep. This was 1961 or 1962 and I learned of the event at church.
