Nice pictures,
the focus is right for me. I know some purist like the depth of field, but a blurry background is artistic IMO.

Thanks. It's a collaboration with George Lasley. I can envision what it should look like, but I have very little talent for realizing the scenes. George is the master craftsman, and I merely his clumsy apprentice.

I like the night shots. Puts a whole different perspective on things. Also been a while since I had seen Ruined River with no cars, I had forgotten what it looked like. It was the first mine built on this layout.

George, I am having a good time figuring out how to take these photos with almost no lighting whatsoever. Don't know why I never tried it before.
