Just called Ed’s Train Store and learned the store has been sold and that Ed had past away. Spoke with his son who in formed of this news. Never meet the gentleman but heard lots of good things about him.

When we were in the area for an auto show event, we stopped at Ed's train store several years back. It was in Burnham. PA. outside Lewistown. IIRC, the store was next to Ed's home. It wasn't a very big place but it was well stocked with trains, scenery supplies and there was a layout in the back. Ed impressed us as a very nice man always willing to help and his prices were reasonable. With his passing, there are probably no more retail train stores and repair centers left in central PA.
