I have been rebuilding my layout and I had TMCC working but the next day it started the engines moving as soon as the track is powered on. I tried different engines and different remotes but I had the same results. Maybe a wiring issue or a hardware failure??? Any advice?

The Command Base MUST be powered up before the track is powered up.
TMCC Engine: Scenario 1; No Command signal and 18 volts track power. "Yippee ... off we go at 200 SMPH." Scenario B; Command signal and 18 volts track power. "Dang it ... got to wait for Command Control to tell me what to do."
Scenario 1: "I'm in Conventional mode."
Scenario B: "I'm in Command Mode."
Found the problem! The wire had slipped of the 'U' connection on the base unit. I changed the terminal from a fork to a ring so this won't happen again.
