Installed ERR Cruise Commander, LED headlight works great, engine runs great. Installed Evans Design Bidirectional Red/Green LED, three wires, common, Red (positive), Green (positive). I thought easy to wire Green positive to headlight, Red positive to reverse light, common on ground. Well that does not work, headlight works fine but no green bidirectional, reverse light works fine no red bidirectional. Tested LEDs before installing and they function fine. If headlight is lit why in green led not lit when both are together on the same terminal. What am I missing or what do I have to do? Any help would be appreciated.

John,

Evans Design LED, specs require, 7-19 volts AC or DC. When I tested them before installing, they were tested at 12 volts and worked fine. They fail to work when wired with the front and rear engine light which are working just fine. All lighting is using the same common. It is definitely not the ERR board, the LEDs demonstrate the same behavior in two different units. All other lighting works as it should.

Thanks

John,                                                           Will this work for my application?

EDGELEC 100pcs 3mm Red & Green Lights Bi-Color LED Diodes Common Cathode Water Clear Round Top +200pcs Resistors (for DC 6-13V) Included/Ultra Bright Bulb Lamps Light Emitting Diode

No, they must be common anode, like I stated previously.
